Compas to run against Fitzgerald

Madison -- Recall organizer Lori Compas will announce Tuesday she is running against Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald (R-Juneau), according to two sources familiar with her plans.
Compas, a Fort Atkinson photographer, could not immediately be reached Friday. She has said before she was considering a run.
Compas led the effort to gather signatures to recall Fitzgerald. State election officials are deciding whether enough signatures were submitted to recall Fitzgerald and three other GOP senators.
