Please share this with everyone you know--lefties included: where will this end?

Dr. Tim's powerful piece on something you absolutely, positively will not find in the Urinal Sentinel, though I did send it to Stingl since he wrote about the lefty in Gov. Walker's neighborhood whose house was egged. Powder dry, muskets ready. No telling what these anarchists will do when Walker destroys their pathetic candidate, whomever it is... March 27, 2012 Farm Animals by Dr. Tim Nerenz They treat us like farm animals. We are not unique children of God to them; we are anonymous members of the herds they assign us to – cattle, hogs, sheep, geese, goats, chickens, according to our demographic voting patterns. We are livestock to be managed, tended, and lorded over; they have chosen themselves to do the lording. We are supposed to love them because they treat us well, clean our stalls, and keep slop in our trough. We are not to think for ourselves, fend for ourselves, or do for ourselves. We are supposed to stay in our pens, do what they say, go where they tell us, pay for their preferences, and be grateful we have them. They tell us what we can eat, drink, smoke, wear, drive, say, read, listen to, learn, own, earn, sell, carry, shoot, join, worship, buy, insure, and protest. They decide what work we can do, what it will pay, how we can raise our kids, who we can marry and how to breed, what businesses we can operate, and what our money is worth. They decide who is black enough to be black, white enough to be white, Hispanic when it suits their purposes. They decide who is woman enough and what constitutes war against them. They decide who is rich and who is poor; they decide how much is too much and how much is too little. They decide which news we will hear and how it should be altered to fit the narratives they taught themselves in college. They don’t like the farm animals to think for ourselves. So they killed a puppy. Here is your new low. This weekend in Wisconsin, a supporter of Governor Scott Walker had her child threatened, her home cased, and her dog killed. She posted the picture on Facebook but I won’t name her for fear of further recrimination. The people who did this to her family are the same people who want us to return them to power in this state – the Government Workers’ Party of Dane County, a.k.a. the Democrats. This young mother refused to be a farm animal so the Government Workers’ Party of Dane County killed her dog. That is all you need to know about what is at stake here in Wisconsin’s upcoming recall election of the Governor; we will choose between the Party that saved the state from bankruptcy and the Party that kills puppies. Own that, you spineless blowhards. Marinate again in what you have become; and add puppy-killing to the long list of vile acts you have committed on your free-fall descent in the elevator that has no basement. Silence in the face of each new disgrace is the most honest thing to come from your leaders’ lips in recent memory. But I would love to hear the spokespersons for the Democrat Party explain to this family why their dog had to die. I would love to see the tough guys who killed a pet while the family was out stand up say they did it. C’mon boys - tell us who you are, which union you belong to, which state they paid you to come here from, and how big the check was. I’m afraid no one in the Libertarian Party can help you with your explanation, because we do not kill dogs. You are all on your own. Is this really what democracy looks like to Democrats? Threatening young mothers, harassing children, disrupting Special Olympics ceremonies, protesting troop homecomings, committing insurance fraud, boycotting neutral businesses, picketing sheltered workshops and food pantries, killing mining jobs out of spite, lying about the number of signatures on recall petitions, and killing puppies – is that it? I don’t think that is what democracy looks like to the rest of us; that is not even what basic human decency looks like to the rest of us. We are not farm animals - beasts to be herded by admen, swindled by pitchmen and punished by henchmen. We are human beings; individuals with a mind of our own, a heart of our own, and a collection of values and opinions on things that are uniquely ours. When your opinion differs from mine, I am not entitled to kill your pet. Only a spectacularly sick mind would take out one’s self-loathing and hopeless inadequacies on a dog. Shrugging it off as collateral damage in a political contest is only a half step closer towards a conscience worth having. “Moment Of Clarity” is a weekly commentary by Libertarian writer and speaker Tim Nerenz, Ph.D. Visit Tim’s website www.timnerenz.com to find your moment and order Tim’s new book, “BRING IT!
