Thanks for voting, interesting poll results, and a prediction
Thanks to the 16 of you who voted in the poll for U.S. Senate candidates. The results were interesting to say the least.
Scott Fitzgerald: 10 votes, 62.5%
Tommy Thompson: 3 votes, 18.75%
Eric Hovde: 2 votes, 12.50%
Mark Neumann: 1 vote, 6.25%
Fitz got more votes than the other three candidates combined, 10-6, yet as you saw in the Rasmussen poll yesterday, the only one of the 4 ahead of the uber lefty Baldwin at the moment is Tommy.
I suspect this race will really heat up after Governor Walker wins the recall in early June, and it's going to be interesting. The State Assembly hero Fitz, the lifetime achievement award winner Tommy, the newcomer carpetbagger Hovde, and the National Club for Growth's choice (but none of ours) and Fall 2010 Walker-basher, Neumann.
How about a March 29th, 2012 prediction (Margin of Error +/- 40, LOL)
Tommy 40%
Fitz 28%
Hovde 17%
Neumann 15%
And then in November, the old war horse with the Badger sweater, Tommy beats Tammy by about 10 pts.
