New poll and comic strip at WRD, and a few thoughts

Sorry there haven't been a lot of posts recently, but been very busy. Glad to see lots of Recall Walker signers went down in flames in the April 3rd election. To everyone who volunteered for Verify the Recall, thank you! Your efforts have been rewarded. This database will be with us in perpetuity. We have the names of 900,000 of the most ardent lefties in the state, and if any of them think they can run and win in conservative-leaning communities, well, they can't. Their political careers are done, unless they move. For example, our alderman, a 3-term incumbent who signed the Walker Recall, got beat by about 72-28%, by a newcomer. She is finished in our community. So personally, my hours and hours doing VTR database work has already paid off. Next up, we have to do everything we can to make sure Scott Walker stays our Governor. I was surprised to see the recent Rasmussen poll that said 52% of Wisconsinites want to recall the Governor, but it certainly got my attention. We need to really step up our efforts in the next 60 days, or this could be a catastrophe. Time to step up. --WRD
