TAX DAY: A Message from the Scott Walker Campaign

it's working, SPREAD THE WORD!!!! Walker +5 over Trolley Tom the Taxer, +7 over Shrek, + 40 over Vinehout, and +99 over that idiot LaFollette! Both feet on jugulars, press down firmly, don't release until June 6th, if ever. MOMENTUM!!!! You can feel it in their desperation, loving it!!!! --WRD --------------------------- Today is tax day, and while it falls a few days later than normal, nothing is more true than Benjamin Franklin’s famous quote in a letter to Jean-Baptiste Leroy on our constitution being established, “in this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes.” While the words of one of our nation’s founding fathers continue to ring true, at least in Wisconsin we are starting to see the signs of tax relief under Governor Scott Walker. His opponents want to turn back the clock to the double-digit tax increases, billion-dollar budget shortfalls and record setting job loss that ran rampant under former Governor Doyle. In a recent article by Jason Stein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel both Kathleen Falk and Tom Barrett pledged to roll back tax incentives given to job creators throughout Wisconsin. Their tax-and-spend mentality is nothing short of a fiscal nightmare for the people of Wisconsin. Since taking the oath of office, Governor Walker has worked tirelessly to bring Wisconsinite’s tax burden under control. In one short year he has eliminated a $3.6 billion deficit without raising taxes, put curbs on frivolous lawsuits and helped create thousands of new private-sector jobs. With the upcoming recall election set for June 5th, the Governor’s detractors are pulling out all the stops in an attempted $9 million taxpayer funded power grab to regain the reins of power in Madison. They are already flooding the airwaves with misleading ads filled with outright falsehoods on the Governor’s record. The truth of the matter is that under Governor Walker, Wisconsinites have seen their tax burden drop. Just yesterday, data was released that showed property taxes statewide lowering for the first time in 12 years. While we are headed in the right direction, we still have work to do. In order to keep moving Wisconsin forward we need your help. Your contribution of $25, $50, $100 or whatever you can afford will help further our conservative cause and keep Scott Walker behind the desk in the Governor’s office. Wisconsin has finally laid a solid financial foundation for the future and cannot afford to take a step back. The people of Wisconsin deserve better, and with your continued support they will receive it. Please stand with Governor Walker today and help us continue to move Wisconsin forward by safely contributing $25, $50, $100, or whatever you can afford by clicking here. Sincerely, Dan Blum Deputy Campaign Manager Friends of Scott Walker P.S. Democrats and big-government union bosses with out-of-state interests have pledged to spend as much as $60 million to turn back the essential reforms that have been put in place to move Wisconsin Forward. Stand with Walker and help spread his message today.
