The Census is getting VERY personal...

I've watched this a couple of times now, and I decided to include in my blog for your viewing and discussion. Many folks are advocating that for the race question on the form, just write American. Some folks are saying just include the # of people living at your address (the enumeration clause of the Constitution), and nothing more. This will obviously bring a census worker to your front door, and from there, you're on your own. This gentleman suggests asking the census worker these questions (video takes 5 minutes, and is thoughtfully done), and watch them stumble and stammer, before leaving in dismay.

I'm not saying we all should do this--the census will cost $800MM instead of a ridiculous $400MM; I wonder what they paid all those liberal actors Ed Begley, etc. for the TV commercials?--but this is excellent perspective on the frightening incroachment of the Federal govt. into our private/personal lives. They have no right asking most of this stuff. --Paul

I hope that afterwards, you will send this to every person you know. This message needs to get out to as many people as possible. It's time we start fighting for our privacy.
