Support State Senate Candidate Rick Gudex in the 18th!

Please support our candidate for the 18th Senate District. Know that the Gasdsden Group will be!

Thanks to the support of Republicans like you, Wisconsin is moving forward.

While Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch, three other State Senate Republicans, and I succeeded in winning our recall elections on June 5th, Republican Senator Van Wanggaard of Racine lost by a razor thin margin. With a recount all but inevitable in that race, we will need all the support we can muster to regain the majority in the State Senate next January.

I believe Republicans are well positioned for the November elections, which is why I'm writing to you today. We need your help and continued support to keep Wisconsin moving forward. With a contribution of $100, $50, $25, or $10 or whatever you can afford we will be one step closer to regaining the majority a reality.

Fond du Lac City Council President Rick Gudex announced earlier this year that he is running for the 18th District seat and has filed nomination papers to be on the November 6th ballot.

Rick is a solid conservative Republican who believes in limited government, balanced budgets, lower taxes for small businesses and working families, and private-sector job creation.

His experience in local government and business make him uniquely qualified to understand our state's challenges.

That's why I'm throwing my support behind Rick to be the next Republican state senator from the 18th District, and I am asking you to join me in supporting him too. A contribution of $100, $50, $25, or $10 or whatever you can afford will make a dramatic impact on this important election.

Your support will help pave the way for progress during the next legislative session. Electing Rick Gudex to be the next Republican state senator from the 18th District with your generous gift of $100, $50, $25, or $10 or whatever you can afford as soon as possible will be the difference in making sure that our bold reforms stay in place and we continue to move Wisconsin forward.

We must send the special interests a clear message that our fight for limited government and private-sector jobs is front and center and with your continued support for candidates like Rick, we are poised to bring forth a jobs explosion in our great state.

I want our Republican Party to continue moving forward to build Wisconsin into an economic powerhouse. With your help, we can.

Since I became governor, we've added over 41,000 jobs and with the budget reforms in place, I know we will reach our goal of creating 250,000 new jobs during my first term.

As Wisconsin's 45th governor, I remain focused like a laser beam on helping Wisconsin companies create jobs. I will continue working with my cabinet secretaries and state agencies to give Wisconsin businesses and workers the tools they need to succeed.

Looking ahead to January 2013, when the next legislature is sworn in, I need a Republican majority in both the state Assembly and Senate ready to work with me on job creation to make our goals a reality.

Rick has a great message on jobs. In contrast, his opponent voted against the mining legislation that would have created as many as 2,300 jobs in Wisconsin.

With Rick Gudex as the Republican candidate in the 18th Senate District, I'm confident of our ability to retake the Republican majority. This will ensure passage of critical jobs legislation like the mining bill and bring investments into Wisconsin while putting people back to work.

Please join me in supporting Rick with the most generous contribution you can make today. Simply click here to $100, $50, $25, or $10 or whatever you can afford payable to "Rick Gudex for State Senate."

I want Wisconsin to be the model for what happens when big government gets out of the way. With the success of our reforms and a majority in both houses of the state legislature we will make Wisconsin a national voice of reason on how to run a state government and put people to work.

With people just like you supporting those of us blessed enough to serve, we will continue moving Wisconsin forward. Now is the time to get started on electing Rick as the next Republican State Senator from the 18th District, so that we can keep sanity in the senate and make sure our reforms stay in place.

Thanks you for all of your support.

Sincerely,

Scott Walker

Governor
